Pam Shortal is a Managing Director of Harris SBSB, a service of Harris Private Bank that provides comprehensive financial planning and wealth advisory services to affluent clients. She oversees Harris SBSB’s Financial Planning Division, and is responsible for maintaining standards of excellence for all planning analyses and planning professionals. Ms. Shortal specializes in providing financial planning and investment advice to individuals, families, and trusts with complex tax and estate planning needs.

Ms. Shortal has more than 25 years experience as a financial advisor to individuals and corporations. She earned a BBA from Hofstra University and an MBA from The Harvard Business School. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.

Ms. Shortal is a member of the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia Estate Planning Councils. She is a former member of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards’ Council on Examinations which ensures that the CFP® certification examination adequately tests for the technical mastery of the various competence areas required of financial planning professionals. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and is regularly quoted in national business publications.
